DID YOU ALREADY KNOW!

Every day depending on the country 150 – 350 people die by sudden cardiac death.
In the coming 12 months every 500th fellow citizen will be a victim. Neither the public nor politics are aware of these facts.

More than 80 % dying from sudden cardiac death are affected at home, on the job or in leisure.
In Europe every year more than 800.000,- die on sudden cardiac death while in Germany still more than 140.000 people are affected.

THIS MAY HAPPEN TO ALL OF US!

It does not matter if you are slim, overweight, healthy or ill, smoker or non-smoker, vegetarian, young or old.

Of course people with pre-existing diseases bear a higher risk as f.e. high blood pressure, diabetes or people who survived a heart attack.
The heart suddenly starts racing and beating in an uncoordinated way. The pumping capacity decreases, the heart stops beating  - the person dies.

EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!

If a victim threatening to die from sudden cardiac death gets an electrical shock and reanimation within the first few minutes it has an excellent chance to survive.













Chance of survival in the period of 10 minutes until the rescue service arrives.
